31st ANNUAL HANOVER INVITATIONAL
SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010

The 2010 Hanover Invitational will be held on SATURDAY, MAY 22nd at HANOVER HIGH SCHOOL . Please help us celebrate our THIRTY FIRST YEAR of bringing together New Hampshire’s and Vermont’s finest athletes for fantastic late season action ! Field events begin at 10:00 a.m. and track events begin at 11:00 a.m. We will post more info on the New Hampshire Track and Field Coaches Association web page at www.nhtfca.org – so please check that page frequently.

You may enter athletes in the following combinations to help us meet our 4 to 5 pm end goal:

• A total of any three (3) events (except only two (2) field events – see below); OR
• If the athlete is in two (2) relays, s/he can also enter any two (2) open events.
• Field events: athletes can enter only two (2) field events; tripling is available ONLY if the athlete already meets the minimum qualifier in all three (3) events; attempts short of the minimum line will not be measured for any athlete except on their last attempt.
• Teams may enter only five (5) athletes in the 1600 and 3200 ( unlimited in all other events)
• Only one relay team per school per event

All pertinent meet information will be posted online at http://nhtfca.org/. Entries are made on www.directathletics.com – ONLINE ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT 9PM ON WED. MAY 19. If necessary, open your team account at http://www.directathletics.com/new_user_front.html.

Entry Fees (team and individuals) : $75.00 for each gender team; or $125.00 for a combined boys and girls team. A team is 2 or more same gender athletes competing in 5 or more events. The fee for individual athletes, entered and represented by authorized school personnel, will be $15.00 PER EVENT. Entry fees should be payable to " Hanover High School" and sent in as soon as possible to: Tim Clark - Meet Director, Hanover High School , 41 Lebanon Street , Hanover , NH 03755 .

ENTRY FEES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN MONDAY MAY 17th .

FULLY ATUTOMATIC TIMING will be provided with the assistance of Lebanon High School’s FinishLynx Timing System and Hy-Tek Database. [The DirectAthletics Meet Information lists Lebanon High School ashost due to Lebanon providing the timing; THE MEET IS HELD AT HANOVER.] There will be Trials and Finals in the 100 meters, 200 meters and High Hurdles. All other events will be contested as Finals, seeded based on times, and will be run fastest to slowest. Complete results will be available online during and after the meet at www.directathletics.com and www.nhtfca.org.

- AWARDS: medals will be presented to the top four finishers in each individual event, as well as the top three teams in each relay event. We will also recognize the top male and female athletes.

- CONCESSIONS: Sponsored by the Friends of Hanover Track along with T-shirt sales. Downtown Hanover with all of its restaurant and store options is one block away.
